On September 25, 2019 at 7:31 a.m., the Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office was called to investigate a car deer accident that occurred in the 2800 blk of 370th Avenue. A 2015 Ford Fusion, driven by Roger Thorson (79) of Graettinger, turned south onto 370th Avenue from 280th St., a deer emerged out of the west ditch and onto the roadway and collided with Thorson’s vehicle. Minor damage was reported at an estimated value of $300.00. Roger was the only occupant of the vehicle and reported no injuries.
