At 12:18 a.m. on May 11, 2019, the Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office was called to the 4200 Block of 540th Avenue near Rodman to investigate a car deer accident. Upon investigation, the Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office determined Andrew Williams (31) of Rodman was northbound on 540th Avenue when a deer emerged in the roadway from the east ditch. Williams struck the deer which caused an estimated $1,600 in damage to his 2005 Dodge Ram 1500 pickup. Williams not injured in the accident.
