On 4/15/2019 at 10:25 p.m., the Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a car deer accident that occurred in the 4000 block of 460th Avenue. According to the investigation conducted by the Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office, a 2009 Buick Lacrosse, owned by Eric Todd Sipress but driven by Leeann Elaine Sipress, age 37 of Mallard, was traveling southbound on 460th Avenue when a deer emerged from the east ditch and onto the traveled portion of the roadway and made contact with the driver’s side of the Sipress vehicle. The Sipress vehicle sustained an estimated $2500.00 worth of damage. There were no reported injuries as a result of the collision.
