On April 5th 2019 at 9:38pm, the Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office investigated a car/ deer acccident approximately 5 miles west of Mallard on 490 St. A 2005 Ford Freestyle, driven by Kay E. Auten of Mallard, was east bound in the 4000-blk of 490 St and collided with a deer, causing $1,200.00 in damage to the Ford. No injuries reported.
