On 11/8/2018 at 5:27 a.m. the Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a vehicle collision that occurred in the 3800 block of 460th Avenue. According to the investigation done at the scene, a 2004 Ford Ranger truck, owned and driven by Kevin Leroy Kinnetz, age 56 of Emmetsburg, was traveling north on 460th Avenue when a deer emerged from the east ditch and onto the roadway. The Kinnetz vehicle made contact with the deer causing an estimated $3500.00 damage to the Kinnetz vehicle. There were no reported injuries as a result of the collision.
