At 8:08 p.m. on October 4, 2018, the Palo Alto county Sheriff’s Office investigated a car deer accident in the 5000 Block of 440th Street. The Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office determined Brianna Deboom, (19) of Rodman, was westbound on 440th Street when a deer emerged from the north ditch and struck the front of her 2007 Chevrolet Impala. Deboom was not injured in the accident and damage to her vehicle was estimated at $4,000.
