On September 14th, 2018, the Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office received of a report of a car/deer accident in the 3800 block of 460th Avenue. Dawn Siemers of Emmetsburg, was driving a 2016 Hyundai Tucson in the 3800 block of 460th Avenue, when a deer ran onto the roadway. There were no injuries reported in the accident. Siemers’ vehicle sustained an estimated $2,000.00 damage from the accident.
