On July 27, 2018, at 10:45 p.m., the Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office investigated a car/deer accident in the 4600 block of 380th Street. Following an investigating, the Palo Alto County Sheriff’s office determined that Darci Curry, of Emmetsburg, was driving her 2015 Chrysler Town and County east in the 4600 block of 380th Street and struck a deer. There was no injuries reported in the accident. Curry’s vehicle sustained an estimated $800.00 damage in the accident.
