On Monday, July 27, 2015, at approximately 5:54 p.m., the Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office received a call of an assault in progress at Sparky’s Convenient Store, in Mallard. Following an investigation into the incident, the Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office arrested Aaron Krusen, 26, of Mallard for assault causing bodily injury= serious misdemeanor, and driving while suspended. Krusen was transported to the Palo Alto County Jail, without incident, and booked in to await his initial appearance before a magistrate.
The Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office has an ongoing investigation into this incident and more charges are pending on the second party involved.
