On Wednesday, April 15, 2020, at 7:40 pm, the Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office investigated a report of an erratic driver in the 900 block of Inman Street, Mallard. Following an investigation into the complaint, the Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office arrested Michael Wallskog (59) of Mallard, charging him with interference with official acts; driving while suspended; reckless driving and failure to maintain control, which are all simple misdemeanors. Wallskog was transported to the Palo Alto County Jail, without incident, and booked in to await his initial appearance before a magistrate.
A criminal charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
