On October 17, 2020, at 12:09 a.m., the Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office investigated a car deer accident near Rodman. It was determined a 2009 GMC Yukon, owned and operated by Maria Francisca Oseguera (31) of Zion, IL, was eastbound in the 4900 block of 440th Street when a deer emerged in the roadway. Oseguera’s vehicle collided with the deer causing an estimated $3,500 in damage to the vehicle. No injuries were reported at the scene.
