On 06/13/2020 the Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office was called to investigate a vehicle in the ditch in the 3100 block of 350th Ave, Ruthven Iowa. Upon completion of an investigation a Pontiac Grand Prix owned and operated by a 17 year old juvenile from Graettinger was north bound when a deer entered the roadway. The driver swerved to avoid the deer and slid into the ditch. Wickman’s Towing Service was notified to remove the vehicle from the ditch. There was minor damage to the front bumper estimated at $100.00, and no reported injuries.
