On 03/06/2020 the Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office was called to investigate a car vs deer accident that occurred in the 3000 block of 420th Ave., Graettinger, Iowa. A gray 2016 Buick Enclave operated by Gina Demoss of Graettinger was south bound on the highway when a deer emerged from the ditch and collided with her vehicle. The vehicle sustained minor damage estimated at $1500.00, and was able to be driven from the scene. No injuries were reported as a result of the accident.
