On Saturday, January 04, 2020 at 6:24 pm, the Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office investigated a car/deer accident in the 3800 block of 460th Avenue (Hwy 4). Following the investigation, the Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office determined that Brian Bunda (41) of Pocahontas, was driving a 2001 Ford F250 south in the 3800 block of 460th Avenue when a deer entered the roadway and was struck by Bunda’s vehicle. There were no injuries reported in the accident. There is an estimated $600.00 damage to Bunda’s vehicle.
