On Sunday, November 7, 2021, at 06:37 am, the Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office investigated a report of a car/deer accident in the 4400 block of 360th Street (Hwy 18). Following the investigation, the Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office determined that Jon Walker of Emmetsburg was driving westbound in the 4400 block of 360th Street in a 2016 Chevrolet Express G2500 owned by K&W Electric Inc. A deer entered the roadway from the north ditch and was struck by Walker’s vehicle. There were no injuries reported in the accident. Walker’s vehicle sustained an estimated $3,000.00 damage in the accident.
