On 10/6/2021 @ 2017hrs, the Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a single vehicle vs. deer accident that occurred in the 3800 block of 460th Avenue. According to the information received, a 2001 GMC Sierra owned and driven by John Dwayne Gagen, age 58 of Emmetsburg, was traveling north on 460th Avenue and struck a deer causing an estimated $3500 worth of damages. There were no reported injuries as a result of the accident.
