On 6/15/2021 at 10:06 p.m., the Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office investigated a single vehicle vs. deer accident that occurred in the 5200 block of 370th Street. According to the investigation, a 2014 Chrysler Town and County Van, owned and driven by Marjorie E Froehlich, age 62 of Youngsville, LA, was traveling east on 370th Street and struck a deer that emerged from the south ditch and onto the traveled portion of the roadway. The Froehlich vehicle made contact with the deer causing an estimated $5000.00 worth of damages.
