On February 17, 2021, at 9:50 p.m., the Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office received a call of a car versus deer accident in the 4100 block of 460th Avenue. It was determined a 2005 Chevrolet Cavalier, owned and operated by Melody Kuhn, (18) of Palmer, IA., was northbound when a deer emerged in the roadway. Kuhn’s vehicle collided with the deer causing an estimated $2,000 in damage. No injuries were reported at the scene.
