On Sunday 11-13-16 at approximately 0030 hrs, a 2008 Pontiac G6 owned and driven by Johnathan Alan Reese of Laurens, was heading east in the 4400 block of 490th St. just west of Mallard, when Reese struck a raccoon that ran out into the roadway. Damage to the undercarriage of the vehicle was estimated at $500. There were no injuries reported in this accident.
