On 01/28/2020 at 6:42 the Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office was called to the 3100 block of 420th Ave, Graettinger, Iowa for a single vehicle car deer accident. A 2004 Dodge Ram, owned and operated by Alex Hamerlinck of Emmetsburg, was south bound when a deer entered the roadway and collided with the vehicle. The vehicle sustained minor front end damage estimated at $1500.00, but was able to be driven from the scene. There were no reported injuries as a result of the accident.
